Is there a Fee for registration?
There is no fee for MWC Africa Event registration passes, this is a free to attend event. Invited attendees and VIPs will register using the code provided to them.
Can I register on site?
No. We no longer have registration facilities onsite and all attendees must be registered before they arrive.
Can I register for more than one person?
You can only register in full for your own pass. All attendees MUST log into their account and provide the mandatory personal information required. Attendees will be refused entry to the event if this information has not been provided, and verified before they arrive at the venue.
VENUE ACCESS
All attendees will be required to have a Digital Badge.
All attendees must be fully vaccinated to access the Venue. Enforcement agencies may conduct vaccination status checks at the Venue.
ID verification may be performed on arrival at the venue perimeter if required by local authorities in Rwanda or Venue.
What is a Digital Badge?
The Digital Badge will replace the printed badge that you would have received at previous events. It contains the same information as a badge and includes a QR code. It will be accessible from the registration system on the “Attendee Reg Home Page”.
All attendees will need to show their Digital Badge on arrival at the Venue perimeter. This can be displayed from a smart phone device or alternatively, a Print at home PDF badge, in colour, can be shown to access the venue perimeter. GSMA and the Venue may or may not offer onsite badge printing facilities.

VISA AND TRAVEL
Do I require a visa to enter Rwanda?
From 1 Jan 2018, Citizens of all countries are allowed to get visa upon arrival without prior application.
Citizens of countries members to the following international organizations; African Union, Commonwealth and La Francophonie get visa upon arrival and are waived visa fees for a visit of 30 days.
A citizen of East African Community Member States shall be issued a pass/entry visa free of charge upon arrival to stay for the period of six months.
The following countries to be granted 90 days valid visa free of charge upon arrival: Angola, Benin, Central African Republic, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, The Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, Ghana, Guinea, Indonesia, Haiti, Mauritius, Philippines, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Sao Tome and Principe, Singapore and the state Qatar.
Citizens of all countries that are not visa exempt have also option to submit application online or at the Rwanda Diplomatic Missions of the country of residence before departure. Those applying online have the option to pay online or upon arrival. There is no single affiliated Agent that is authorised to apply for visa on your behalf. Such Agents may mislead you and charges more than the required visa fees.
The visa fees must not exceed 50 USD for single entry visa or 70 USD for multiple entry.

Are masks required?
Masks are no longer mandatory in Rwanda required, but are recommended in public indoor / closed spaces and for those not fully vaccinated, or high-risk individuals.
Are vaccinations required?
The attendees are not required to be vaccinated for attendance in conferences and tradeshows.
Is COVID-19 testing required?
The Government of Rwanda will provide this testing at the Kigali Convention Center (KCC) free of charge for delegates.
Every delegate must present their digital or printed badge, in order to be tested and allowed into the conference. If you don’t have a printed badge, please bring a photo ID to the testing centre.
Testing will commence on 24th, October, 2022 from 08:00 to 18:00 at the Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) in the Parking Lot and for the VIP delegates, testing will be done in the VIP wing at the KCC.
On the 25th, October, 2022 testing will commence at 06:00 to 09:00 (am) strictly. All delegates must ensure to get tested by the stated time.

The medical team at the KCC will also provide more information and guidance in the event that one tests positive.
Is social distancing required?
In Rwanda, the public is urged to get frequently tested while continuing to observe preventative measures including social distancing and hand hygiene. For more information, please go to: www.rbc.gov.rw.

What do I do if feeling unwell during the event?
If you feel unwell during the event, our first aid is available during event hours, however if you believe you might have been exposed to COVID--19, we ask that you leave the venue.
