Speaker Bio
Sharon is the Director for Network Expansion at MFS Africa. In this role she is responsible for expanding MFS Africa’s footprint and growing the suite of services offered. She is a founding employee at MFS Africa and has held various roles since the company’s inception in 2010. Prior to MFS Africa, Sharon was at MTN Cameroon. Here, she was part of the team that launched MTN’s mobile money service in Cameroon. Sharon also has experience of working in the US, as an inventory auditor at Wal-Mart Corporation and a valuation analyst at Standard Chartered Bank. She holds an MBA from American University in Washington, DC and a BSc in Accounting/MIS from Purdue University. She speaks fluent English and French.
