Mr. Olufemi Sojinrin is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems (NIBSS) Plc - the operators of the National Central Switch in Nigeria.
He is a seasoned professional and an experienced technology leader with over two decades of experience in consulting, banking and business aligned transformation.
Femi commenced his career in Software Development, building and supporting enterprise solutions for corporate organizations in the Finance, Telecoms and Oil and Gas industry.
He served as CIO at the Ecobank Group, one of the largest banking groups in Sub-Saharan Africa, responsible for corporate, commercial and Investment banking across 33 countries.
Prior to his role at Ecobank, Mr. Sojinrin was responsible for technology strategy, process improvement, project management and IT governance at First Bank of Nigeria.
Femi holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s in information systems management. A Member of the Nigerian Financial Systems Standards Committee, he has attended various Executive Management programmes at Nigerian and International Executive Business Schools.
