Speaker Bio

Kimberly Brown is the Head of GSMA’s Mobile for Humanitarian Innovation Programme. Her team catalyses partnership between the mobile industry and the humanitarian sector to accelerate the delivery and impact of dignified digital humanitarian action. She has 20 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector working with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, Save the Children, and UNICEF. She specialised in multilateral negotiations and instruments having worked on the Sustainable Development Goals, the New York Declaration on Refugees and Migrants, the Paris Climate Agreement, the Mine Ban Treaty, and the Convention on Cluster Munitions. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, a MA in International Development Studies from Chulalongkorn University and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
