Garikai Nhongo holds 14 years’ worth of experience in Strategy and Project Management across Africa having worked with clients and stakeholders in over 30 African countries.
He is currently the in charge of Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement at Smart Africa where he is responsible for the 35 Governments, 54 Regulators, 47 Private Sector and International partners and all the key events which include the Transform Africa Summit, Africa’s largest ICT platform under the Smart Africa Secretariat based in Kigali, Rwanda.
Garikai has a passion for entrepreneurship, business strategy and job creation and believes in tapping into Africa’s demographic dividend. He holds a position as the Vice President of the Africa SME Champions Forum and works with international organisations on how to engage with real transformation in Africa. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK)
