Mr. Emmanuel Khisa – PM in-charge of e-Payments & e-Commerce for Digital Trade at the Smart Africa Secretariat where he is responsible for the Ecommerce and e-Payments initiatives including blueprint development, pilot design, relationship management and stakeholder management as well as testing out next-generation home-grown African payments solutions. Emmanuel also served previously as PM in charge of digital Identity at Smart Africa. Emmanuel is a Digital Finance and Transformation practitioner with over 17 years of progressive Technology management experience across the globe. His specialty is in the fields of digital transformation, digital financial services, and inclusive digital innovation. Prior to joining Smart Africa, consulted in the DFS sector as well as Senior Global Projects Manager for Irish Fintech - CR2 Limited, he led successful digital omnichannel banking projects in Tanzania, Myanmar, Ethiopia and Kenya.
