Speaker Bio
Bertus Ehmke is the Group General Manager for Technical Regulatory Affairs at the MTN Group. He has worked in MTN in various capacities in the past 25 years throughout Africa and the Middle East
Formerly, he served in Group Technology leading Technology and Spectrum Strategy. He was part of the first e-Business Incubator in the earlier years of MTN and worked as senior technology strategist to the group for several years while based in Dubai.
Bertus represents the MTN Group’s interests on several industry fora such as the GSMA Future Spectrum group, Strategic Spectrum Management Group, Future of Spectrum Access Group and EMF Forum.
Bertus holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Electronic Engineering and Commerce – Marketing Management and a Diploma in Mobile Communications
