Speaker Bio
Abossé AKUE-KPAKPO is Digital Economy Director at the UEMOA Commission (West African Economic and Monetary Union). As such, he develops and implements programs and projects in the digital field.
He has a long experience with a telecommunications operator in the sub-region before joining the WAEMU Commission in 2009.
He is also a consultant to institutions like ITU (International Telecommunication Union), ATU (African Telecommunication Union) and ESMT (Ecole Supérieure Multinationale des Télécommunications) in Dakar. He is also an accredited Expert before the courts and tribunals of Togo.
He has worked on various topics such as universal access/service, numbering plan, Voice over IP, cost models, Service and prepayment platforms, Interconnection of telecommunication networks and digitalization of public services.
Abossé AKUE-KPAKPO holds a Diploma of Higher Education in Telecommunications Management from Institut National des Télécommunications in Evry (France) and a Master's Degree in Management Sciences from the Université du Bénin.
